Some software I have found useful.
Synergy2 (free). Install this product on two computers and you can move your mouse from one screen to the other, regardless of operating system. A tad non-intuitive to set up, once you have it going it works like a charm. Ideal for a laptop next to a PC situation at work or at home.
Lookout for Outlook (free). Install this plugin for outlook and it will index all your emails and contacts allowing for extremely fast efficient searching. Outlook searching is almost impossible beyond a years worth of emails without this.
